We are super excited to try Chewy's Exclusive Tylee's Homestyle Frozen Fully Cooked food for 30 days. We will have 3 different post about this food. This first post will be about what we think. This was our very first time of getting frozen food from chewy.com. We were very impressed on how it arrived. When open the box, you see a Styrofoam top with a card on how to handle dry ice. I have never handled dry ice before, I know it is super cold & can damage your skin. So I gloved up and removed Tylee's bag of food. I left the box open outside on our deck, no animals could reach. Within 24 hours it disappeared.

First look inside the bag: Wow you can see all the yummy goodness. I like that it's small and chopped up. Loads of meat (Ground Beef, Beef Heart & Liver) in this bag plus you have Spinach, Broccoli, Zucchini, Sweet Potato, and Mango.

A little about Tylee"s food: Their ingredients are Human Grade. Nothing from China. Made here in the USA.

No fillers, corn, wheat, soy, by-product meals, artificial flavors, or artificial coloring. It's great for pups who have allergies & sensitive tummies plus is Grain-Free.

Super easy to feed; just defrost and serve to your pup as a topper, mixer or a whole meal.

Price on chewy.com: $34.99 96oz bag (6lbs about 20 cups) Chewy is having a special on this food you buy one bag you get your second one free.

Ingredients:

  1. Beef Heart, Ground Beef, Water (Sufficient For Processing), Beef Liver, Spinach, Broccoli, Zucchini, Sweet Potato, Mangos, Tricalcium Phosphate, Chia Seeds, Sunflower Oil, Ground Flaxseed, Potassium Chloride, Salt, Cod Liver Oil Powder, Dried Parsley, Ground Cinnamon, Dried Kelp, Zinc Amino Acid Chelate, Iron Amino Acid Chelate, Rosemary Extract, Manganese Amino Acid Chelate.

Our first thoughts about this food: I'm excited to see how the dogs will react. We are using this as a mixer because we are trying to get away from wet food. I'm going to start them off with very small amounts so they don't get upset tummies. I really like all the ingredients plus nothing from china. Plus for us has no chicken.

We will have a 2nd post up in about a week and half on how they are doing and liking it.

Go Back

Thank you for testing out Tylee's. I too am trying it on my Rottie. It's been about three weeks now and she is doing great on this food. I started with replacing 1/2 cup of her dry food with Tylee's. Now, I'm up to 1 cup dry, 1 cup Tylee's twice a day. I am very picky about what I feed my pets and I am continually researching different brands. Probably, a little too obsessed for most people. Anyways, thanks again.

What flavor is girl on? I'm keeping them on dry just replacing their wet food. Because of all the recalls. So happy she is doing good. I'm crazy about what mine eat also :)
